'Voluntary planning agreements and their effect on land development'

This seminar will examine various aspects of voluntary planning agreements (VPAs) from the perspective of the lawyer, the developer, the courts and the government.

Topics to be covered include: ƒƒRegistration of VPA on title, ƒƒPosition of the mortgagee, ƒƒIssues with Riparian corridors, ƒƒLegislative provisions, Monetary contributions and indexing, ƒƒOff-setting statutory contributions, ƒƒDedication of land, ƒƒDispute resolution, ƒƒComments from the courts, ƒƒGovernment priorities around VPAs
