Climate change is the biggest issue facing many companies at this point in time. The New Zealand Government has recently issued several policies relating to sustainable development and climate change which has resulted in targets being set for various business sectors across the country. Consumer trends in the role of business in New Zealand’s sustainable future points towards business contributions beyond the financial bottom line.
Come and hear Rebecca White, Environmental Manager, Leighton Contractors deliver a talk focusing on climate change and the move towards corporate social responsibility over the last 40 years and the risks and opportunities for construction professionals and businesses into the future.
