Governments and Construction – The Influence on Aged Care 1997 to 2030
This joint CIOB & AIPM presentation will highlight the changes to the 1997 Commonwealth Aged Care Act requirements and the changes to the specific standards for aged care facilities. With an ever growing aging population, analysis will include how some of these requirements might impact on ordinary domestic properties in the future.
With Australia’s aging population increasing daily, focus will also be given to the question of how the aged care industry will manage to keep pace in say 2030 when Generation X, the largest portion of the working population, move into retirement and begin utilising such facilities.
Come and hear Paul Campbell, Aged Care Property Projects Administrator with the Salvation Army, present a comprehensive overview of the issues facing Aged Care facilities currently and into the future.
