Routes to Membership (MCIOB)

Professionals working in construction who hold a degree that is not in a construction-related discipline, or who hold Chartered level membership of another Professional Institute, may apply for membership of the CIOB.

Candidates for this route must have at least 3 years' professional-level experience in the construction industry.

The route consists of two parts, the Assessment followed by a Professional Review/Interview.
